เพื่อให้นักศึกษามีความรู้ความเข้าใจการเขียนโปรแกรมที่เน้นการพัฒนาโปรแกรมจริง การเขียนโค้ด การออกแบบ การดีบัก การทดสอบ และปรับปรุงประสิทธิภาพ การเขียนโปรแกรมแบบโครงสร้าง การเขียนโปรแกรมย่อย โปรแกรมเรียกตัวเอง กราฟิกส์ การประยุกต์ใช้งานแฟ้มข้อมูล และการสื่อสาร รวมถึงศึกษาความเข้ากันได้ ความทนทาน และความน่าเชื่อถือของระบบ การฝึกทักษะ โดยการปฏิบัติเขียนโค้ดและจัดทำโครงงานกลุ่ม
